Wow, Napa was fun! We enjoyed delicious food and wine, relaxed at a spa (heavenly) and laughed at everything along the way. Here are some pictures of La Hacienda, the house we rented. The house was awesome but the view from our deck was even better. We were able to relax sufficiently here.
We stayed at the north end of Napa Valley in Calistoga - the home of the Old Faithful Geyser. One afternoon, I was woken up from my nap by a trio of gobbling turkeys as they cruised past our house.
At Chateau Montelena we saw them separating and crushing grapes. Harvest season is definitely a great time to visit Napa. We had gorgeous weather in the 70's every day.
We missed the kiddos so much and we are glad to be back home. Thanks to their awesome grandparents who took care of them while we were away!
