Camping or "Glamping" (glamour camping) was so much fun at Luray, even though we went during the arctic blast in November.
The kids didn't seem to mind the below freezing temps and played outside the entire time. I enjoyed the warmth of our cabin and the Sullivan's camper!
The
caverns were beautiful and not full of bats, like Mallory thought they
would be.
The kids went on the ropes course at the caverns. They all started down low but Claire and Mallory wanted to go up to the top and proved that they are not only not afraid of heights but also extremely brave!! They both walked across single ropes on the third story of this structure with nothing to hold onto but the harness rope attached to them. Eeks!! Notice all these pictures are taken from the ground where Jack and I stayed nice and safe.
