Richmond Zoo, you Rock!
The carousel ride was a great start to our day at the zoo. I think Mallory would have stayed on it all day but there was much more to see and a promise of snow cones at the end of our journey!
A few reasons why this zoo rocks! ~ 1. quality animals, all the big names with no fillers. 2. small park and a circular flow so you see everything in one loop. 3. NOT CROWDED (this is the best part). 4. the giraffes, see pictures below (self-explanatory).

Monkeys are always entertaining.
The giraffes are so beautiful, soft and sweet. It is really awesome that you can feed and pet them. I want one!
Here is the cheetah, or as Mallory calls it the Cheeto. The zebras are right on the other side of his fence.
