Easter 2013 - Part 1
The girls went to an Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday and it was beautiful, sunny and warm. Our brave friends invited a couple dozen kids over for the hunt and it was crazy fun!
Mallory helped me put this outfit together and I think it really turned out nice. Lots of purple!
Claire picked out her own clothes this day. I think she did an especially good job and looks beautiful as always.

These two are definitely up to no good!
Claire has a very interesting egg hunting technique. She is definitely in it for quality, not quantity. She opens each egg after she picks it up to see what's going on inside. I don't think I ever saw her put an egg back, but I wouldn't put it past her.
Here she is, inspecting the egg contents while Mallory loads up her bucket using her squat walk technique. Very effective!

All of the eggs have been found. Now, Mallory can begin a proper egg inspection.
I think she and May even had some sort of trade going on here.
But in the end, the day was a great success and everyone got their well-deserved sugar high.
