Claire and Mallory

I've been so bad about taking pictures lately. We spent all of Labor Day weekend at the bay and I didn't take one picture. After a fun and busy summer, I'm just enjoying the girls and winding down. These pictures of the girls with their friends Leah and May are from the past couple of weekends when they were all being so cute and I remembered to get out my camera. Here is the run down on what's happening now.
Claire started preschool and has a new teacher and classmates. We got our first HOMEWORK assignment this week. I say WE because all parents know that giving preschoolers homework is really giving parents homework. It was actually fun looking though Claire's kids magazines to find something that starts with an "A" to cut out, paste on an index card and send back to school. Thank goodness for the National Geographic Kids magazines from Grams! I'm looking forward to my next assignment because there are lots of great pictures I want to cut out!
Mallory is still staying with Joann during the day and probably will be until next summer when she will join Claire at preschool. Mallory has been talking up a storm lately. She actually said two statements this morning at breakfast that I could understand, "Mommy, I don't want banana" and "This is hot". She still answers "No" to every question we ask her but if she laughs when she's saying no, that really means "Yes". I speak Mallory. You will start seeing more pictures of Mallory with her hair pulled up in what Jack likes to call the "hair explosion", that's because we are trying to let her bangs grow out. Stay tuned...
