We just got back from our week long family vacation in Cape Cod. The girls loved it and Claire used the word "Awesome" to describe just about everything there. We went on a pirate adventure trip and the girls had their first boat ride. It was raining a little but that didn't stop the fun. Mallory wasn't really into the pirate shenanigans but she ate Pirate's Booty the whole time we were on the ship so at least she stayed with the theme.
The beach was lots of fun too. Especially when the girls found out that the ice cream truck comes to the beach multiple times a day. Mallory practically turned into a swirly rainbow pop with ice cream running down her arms and dripping off her elbows. Good thing we were near the water for easy cleanup. Claire got to fly her kites and find hermit crabs. AWESOME!
