Claire and Mallory

Mallory's best friend May just got an update on her blog so I thought Mallory needed one too. She's almost 21 months old and is going through the phase where it seems like she learns 20 new things every day. Mallory has become very chatty but I can only understand about 15% of what she says. She has been wanting to sit on the potty so we are taking it slow and she has successfully peed next to the potty but not in it yet. We will get there!
She loves playing with Claire and May and is obsessed with The Wiggles. We've been watching the Christmas Wiggles show and it feels a little strange singing "Here Comes Santa Clause" when it is 110 degrees outside. We've been making smoothies in the evenings to cool down and generally trying to stay out of the heat. Mallory has gotten really good at coloring, matching cards, and dancing while we've been confined indoors. We can't wait for this heat wave to end!
