What an eventful weekend we had with the girls. There were so many things that happened and there's no way I could have gotten pictures of everything. With all the nice weather, we had no choice but to get out our pool and play in the water every day. Squirting water at the dogs is so much fun when you're two (or thirty three). We went to a wedding on Saturday where Claire and Cate danced and wrestled on the ground. They were so wild but had a good time. Apparently Claire is allergic to shellfish because we followed up the wedding with a trip to the emergency room when she developed hives all over her back side and an itchy ear. She is famous for going around the room and eating off everyone's plates so I guess we'll have to be a little more careful from now on. Sunday we had so much fun playing at the park, shopping, and then the girls went to a sleep over at Grams & Papa's house. Jack and I got to spend the evening with friends watching fireworks. Monday we were off to the pool again with some friends who belong to a country club. They had the most awesome pools and Mallory loved sitting in the baby pool and splashing. After naps we all played at home and threw the frisbee for the dogs. It was a really nice long weekend full of time with family and friends. At least this is a short week and then we're headed to the bay on Friday. I love summertime!
